At ABcom, we know that a safe and healthy environment protects all our team members, minimizes risk to our customers and creates mutually beneficial cost savings. It is this understanding and our commitment to safety that drives us to provide a best in class OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) approved safety program for our employees that includes on-going training and hazard communications.

Included in our program, are our mandatory weekly safety meetings for all our field crews on all of our job sites. These meetings are conducted by the team leaders, and every field employee is in attendance. We realize that each project site represents different risks and challenges, and we proactively manage them to prevent any potential injuries.

Our team leaders also attend a monthly safety meeting to continue their education in safety training. ABcom MN also partners with Minnesota Statewide Limited Energy JATC whose mission is to provide quality technical education to all members of the power limited industry, particularly those who are employed by contractors signatory to the Minnesota Statewide Limited Energy Agreement.

And most decidedly, we are proud of our ongoing safety record. Our safety performance is consistently superior to the industry norm, as evidenced by the maintenance of our EMR (Experience Modification Rate) rating of <1 for the past three years.
